Hey 2020…you miserable jack-ass. I want to thank you.
You heard me right.
I want to thank you for forcing me out of my comfort zone and showing me that I have the strength to accept change in my business and personal life.
I want to thank you for showing me that real relationships and friendships aren’t just about what I have in common with others, but how the differences make me a better version of myself.
I want to thank you for making me face and accept my weaknesses for what they are…mine, and not an excuse to stand idle.
I want to thank you for the health of my wife, children, friends, and all my business partners.
I want to thank you for opening doors that would not have been explored if you hadn’t shown your ugly face.
I want to thank you for my sleepless nights and anxiety attacks, for without them, I might not have found better ways to manage my mental health.
Thank you for allowing me to face my fears. Though fear will always be a part of my life, I finally have a support team to ensure it doesn’t control my life.
I want to thank you for putting me and the whole BOB crew in front of the small business owners, business professionals, entrepreneurs and people who are passionate about what they do. They reinforce that our mission is on the right path.
I want to thank you for giving me the grace to separate the contenders from the pretenders. Haters will always Hate, but Love will always rule.
Finally, I want to thank you for kicking me in the nether-regions whenever “I knew” I was ready for normalcy. You taught me that normalcy is not fluid, and only relevant when you surround yourself with people who challenge, love, accept, understand, listen, love, care, listen, love, Who I Am.
